ABOUT US

Namyanka Performing Arts Training Center is a faith- based 501c3 non-profit organization located in Baltimore, Maryland. For twenty-five years Namyanka has set a standard of excellence in liturgical dance.
​
Namyanka's mission is to set a standard of excellence in the creative art of dance that brings glory and honor to God.
​
Namyanka promotes the dancers' overall well-being by providing dance instruction, Biblical Study, mentoring, and counseling. The goal is to build the dancer as a vehicle of ministry, outreach, and community service.
​
Namyanka has nurtured and trained over 1,000 members ages 3 - adults. They also provide scholarships to Namyanka and a financial stipend to those pursuing higher education.
​
Having danced in churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and other community events, Namyanka is the recipient of a Community Service award from Baltimore City. They are a member of the National Liturgical Dance Network and the Apostolic Prophetic Connection.
​
Namyanka's primary mode of dance is Dunham Technique which is a blend of ballet, modern, and African dance forms.
