Jessica has been on the stage since the age of two. She’s described as a true performer and minister of God in dance. Regardless of the circumstances, she never leaves the stage until the performance is over and God’s work is done. Jessica began her first professional dance training at the age of 4 at the Pelagie Green Wren School of Dance in St. Louis, Missouri. She continued to study in Baltimore by attending the TWIGS program at Baltimore School for the Arts, Morton Street Dance Center, Essex Community College and of course with Namyanka. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from UMBC in May, 2008. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University. Jessica is a member of Way in the Word Worship Ministries. She is an active member of the dance ministry.

Dr. Walker - Blake has over 40 years of professional performing arts experience. She is an accomplished singer serving as a member of her church choir in St. Louis, Missouri, the Tuskegee University Choir, and the Baltimore Symphony Chorus. She trained in dance at the Katherine Dunham School of Dance in East St. Louis, Illinois. Dr. Walker has been a member of several performing arts companies and a guest choreographer and performer with the St. Louis Black Repertory Company. She has served as the director of dance and drama ministries, a psalmist, praise and worship leader, in prison ministry, and has taught in a local Bible college. Dr. Walker is an ordained minister and pastor of Way in the Word Worship Ministies. She has a master degree in social work. and a doctorate in Christian Education. She conducts sessions on Stress Management – A Biblical Approach, and has published a dance ministry workbook – “Dancing for the Lord.” In June 2004, Dr. Walker-Blake was a recipient of the United States Congressional Award for Community Service.
